There is a lot going on in the world right now. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, angry, frustrated or even afraid. While these reactions are completely human, they don’t change the reality of what is unfolding.

It is easy to feel powerless in the face of so much turmoil. But I don’t believe we are powerless. I believe we are powerful.

Most of us think we would act with courage and purpose if the moment asked it of us. We believe that, if we had been alive during World War II or during some revolutionary period, we would have been on the right side.

We didn’t live then.
But we do live now.
And we get to choose who we will be in this moment.

Purpose itself is a form of resistance. It doesn't always need to be loud, but it is always deliberate. It asks us to be more intentional in how we live, work, lead, consume, and relate to one another. In those choices, we are protesting the way things are. We quietly disrupt by never accepting the status quo as our only option. Every time we choose purpose over passivity, we are choosing something different. When we do this, we are investing in our vision for the world as it can be.

To protest doesn’t always mean marching in the streets—though it can. The word “protest” means to make a declaration. It invites us to ask bigger questions of ourselves. To say who we are and what we stand for. It means drawing red lines in our lives that we will not cross—whether as a person, an employee, a business leader, a consumer or a citizen of the world.

As conscious people, we know we don’t make real lasting change if we meet the aggression we are witnessing in the world with more aggression. Rather we come together to ground ourselves and delve deeper to understand how we can:

🔥 Transmute anger into right action
⚡ Use frustration as fuel

In this Purpose Clinic, we will look to:

🌿 Find Clarity
We create a space to pause and reflect so we can gain clarity and calmness.
Clarity—so we know what to do next.
Calmness—so we do it well.

🔥 Become Quietly Disruptive
To protest is to use the power you have—however big or small—to support the vision of the world you want. It’s about making better choices in how you direct your resources: your time, your money, your ideas, your passion in service of the world as it could be. A decision to stop playing by other people’s rules and start acting in alignment with what matters to you.

🤝 Be Resourced
One of the key resources needed to make purpose real is community. We come together in The Purpose Clinic to resource each other. To be nourished and replenished by like-minded people and build our internal resources so we can face the world with greater energy, courage, and determination.

Paid subscribers can register to attend the call live using the link at the bottom of the email.

The broad outline of the clinic will be:

🫶 30–45 Min Talk and workshop focused on purpose as protest. An exploration of how the choices we make daily uphold the fabric of society and the individual and collective power that offers us.

🧘‍♀️ Guided Meditation & Reflective Practices
We’ll work with practices that help us centre ourselves amid uncertainty. This space helps reconnect you to what matters, gain clarity on what quietly disruptive means for you, and discover how to initiate right action in your life and work.

💬 AMA (Ask Me Anything) with Fiona
An open discussion on purpose, leadership, protest, and topics that matter. Bring your questions, curiosities, or personal challenges for feedback, reflection, and support.

Whether you come and choose to simply listen and reflect on what is important to you or you have active topics you need support on, my intention is The Purpose Clinic will provide the resources needed to help you live more wisely in our world.

In a world that is increasingly chaotic and distressing, I promise I need these calls as much as you might.

I would love to see you there.
